TAS6424-Q1: Audio delay when exiting standby

Part Number: TAS6424-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS6424

The TAS6424  specifies 5ms delay to enter standby but does not seem to specify the delay when exiting standby.

What I have found thus far:  with auto diagnostic set 'on' the time to exit and start passing audio is about 500ms .  With the auto diagnostic set 'off' the delay is about 300ms.

In the audio world this represents excessive delay.

How may I exit the standby within 100ms?

My purpose for entering standby is for power reduction.

Thank you

Jaye
