Part Number: TAS2505

About the TAS2505 data sheet (JAJSDJ0B –FEBRUARY 2013–REVISED NOVEMBER 2016) The signal name of Pin 5 in Pin Configuration and Functions in section 5 is HPOUT. On the other hand, it is NC in the table. Can I use No Connect (Leave unconnected) when the pins are unused? The analog input pins (AINL and AINR) are not used. If so, what should I do with the pins? best regards
  • Hi,

Yes, you can leave all the unused analog outputs as floated when they are not used.

Regarding your question about the input pins, we recommend to connect them to a 0.1uF to 0.47uF to analog ground. The analog input pins are biased, so we recommend to connect them to this capacitor instead of leaving them floating.

I hope this helps you. Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments.

    Best regards,
    Luis Fernando Rodríguez S.

  • Hello,

HPOUT can be left unconnected if not being used.

AINR and AINL, if not being used, can be shorted together, as shown in section 11 of the TAS2505-Q1 datasheet

    Hi Luis and Caroline,

    Thanks for your support.

Which the customer should do connect them with capacitor or shorted together as datasheet?

    Regards,

    Yoshi

  • In reply to Masayoshi Takahashi:

    Hi, Yoshi,

Sorry for the confusion. Please follow the indications of Carolina and short the inputs as stated in section 12 of the datasheet:
