TLV320ADC3101: Input Signal Level

Part Number: TLV320ADC3101

Hi,

The input signal level is specified at 0.707Vrms as follows. Is my understanding correct that 0.707Vrms is applied even if AVDD is 2.8V ?

Best regards,
Kato

  • Hello,

You're correct and the ADC3101 input range does not scale with supply voltage and will remain 0.707Vrms across the specified supply voltage range.  0.707Vrms is roughly 2Vpp and that still leaves some headroom on the 1.3V common-mode voltage for supply voltages down to the +2.6V minimum AVDD voltage. Note that the datasheet performance specifications are specified with a +3.3V supply and there may be some degradation of performance at the lower-supply voltages.

  • Hi Collin-san,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

    I understand.

    Best regards,
    Kato
