Hello,

I read this support thread regarding AEC:

We are planning the design of a small body-worn speaker (worn at chest/stomach height) system with quite a bit of gain. The the audio input is a head-worn microphone with directional pattern (ie approx 30 cm from the speaker), and our challenge is to get as much gain as possible without feedback. 8kHz (or even 4kHz) may be acceptable and this is why I found the thread interesting - maybe the AIC3262 could be used for our application. Are you able to send me some more material/documentation on the AEC and whether you regard it to be suitable for our application?

    Hi Eggz,

    I believe the adaptive feedback canceller is conceptually similar to the AEC, so it might be suitable for your application. Since we don't actively support this component, I would like to take this discussion offline. I will send you a PM and we can discuss further.
