Hi,

Please let me confirm how to use Control Terminal Configuration.

I think that setting of S0/1/2 pin is readout according to table 10 of the datasheet if 02h[6]=1.

For instance, if S0=S1=S2=Low, Y1_0, FS1_0, SSC1_0, Y2Y3_0 is readout.

Is this correct?

And, is there any restriction for configuration change timing(i.e. after output stable, etc.)?

Hi Kuramochi,

If S0=S1=S2=Low, Y1_0, FS1_0, SSC1_0, Y2Y3_0 are the programmed device settings.
When S0/1/2 are configured as control pins, the I2C programming interface is disabled, and you will not be able to read or write to the device. The I2C interface can be re-enabled if VDDOUT is forced to GND (see datasheet section 8.3.1).

Hi Kuramochi,

Changes to the control register (Bit [6] of byte 02h) have no effect until they are written into the EEPROM. After writing to EEPROM, initiate a power cycle

Does it allow to change configuration by S0/1/2 pins during device clock outputting?

Please let me confirm again.

My customer is considering to change SSC level by S0/1/2 pins during following "Output Signal".
Of course, changing SSC level is after writing 1 to bit [6] of byte 02h.
Is this changing SSC level allowed?

(I think that power cycle is not required for this changing SSC level)

Thank you for the clarification, I misunderstood the original question. In this case, a power cycle is not required to change the SSC setting

Hi Kuramochi,

Yes, it is allowed. In pin controlled mode, you can change the SSC setting at any time using S0, S1, and S2 pins.
