LMK04803: clock or oscin0 vs. clock out

Part Number: LMK04803

1. other than the 0-delay mode, what was the phase relationship between CLKin0/1 (Fin) and CLKout; OSCin0/1 and CLKout

2. other than 0-delay mode, will CLKout and OSCin has fixed phase or delay relationship each time After SYNC becomes unasserted?

  • Hello,

We are looking into the details of this question and will reply in next couple days.

    Regards,

  • Any updates? Thank you.

  • Hi new2day,

    1. Outside of 0-delay mode, by default there is no fixed or deterministic phase relationship between inputs and outputs. The output dividers can each be configured independently, so the nominal propagation delay for each output may be different. And across voltage and temperature, the output divider propagation delay variation will differ from the feedback divider delay variation.
    2. After SYNC becomes unasserted, some deterministic phase relationship will be established from each synchronized output to each other synchronized output. Outside of 0-delay mode, once again there is a difference in propagation delay variation across voltage and temperature between output dividers and feedback divider, so the phase between CLKout and OSCin will not be fixed.

    Regards,
