Team, can you help with the below questions: in a satellite solution:

1)      how long after the LMX2615-SP is powered up should we wait to send a command to ensure that it gets processed

2)      what happens if when you are changing a frequency, and you want to change a VCO core as well, should we delay and wait for the VCO core to stabilize before we send commands to change the frequency?

3)      is there any other registers we should be changing if we change a VCO core while changing frequencies?

    Hi Michael,

    After Vcc is applied to the chip, suggest wait 2ms for the internal LDOs to settle down before programming it.

    Whenever the VCO frequency is changing, a VCO calibration is required. The calibration will take care both VCO frequency and VCO core.
