Hi TI Team

How could I sync 8 pcs of UC2827-1 in interleave mode?

If I create a 400Khz clock, how could put it into the UC2827?

    Hi Chung,

    take care, the sync pin of UC2827-1 is bidirectional. You cannot simply drive this pin with a low impedant source. It seems that this sync pin should only be used to synchronize several UC2827-1 to each other according to figure 3 of datasheet. Up to ten UC2837-1 can be synchronized this way. Not bad...

    Hi Chung,

    The UC2827-1 is an older device and there is limited support for it outside of the datasheet.

    I suggest yo measure the sync waveform from a UC2827 and replicate it with the external oscillator signal, you can then use that circuit to synchronise the UC2827 controllers. I suggest you buffer the signal as each UC27-1 device will present an impedance to the external sync circuit.
