LMK61E2: Sometimes the PLL does not lock

Part Number: LMK61E2
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CODELOADER

Hi,

I use a self-designed board instead of an evaluation board.

When I wrote the setting in the register of LMK61E2 on the board I designed, the bit of LOL of R66 may be 1 even though all the settings were written.

The register settings were created using EZ Config in CodeLoader 4.

In the setting procedure, soft reset is performed first, and the set value is written to the register in ascending order after waiting for 1 second.

I have set various frequencies, such as 260 MHz, 250 MHz, 200 MHz, and 190 MHz ..., but sometimes the PLL does not lock in any frequency setting.

I have to be able to set the board stably and surely.

How can I lock the PLL stably?

Why does the PLL sometimes not lock?
