Part Number: CDCLVC1104
Can signals other than clocks be used as input signals?
I want to input serial data or frame pulses and use it as a fanout buffer.
As long as you are meeting the datasheet specifications for the input signal, there should be no problem using the CDCLVC1104 as a fanout buffer for any signal type. One other thing to note is there is no internal AC coupling, so there shouldn't be an issue with inputting serial data.

Thank you for your answer. When I contacted Support by chat yesterday, I got the answer that signals other than clocks are not possible because there is an internal PLL.It seems that the internal PLL is information not listed in the data sheet.
In reply to user1005701:
You are referring to the CDCLVC1104 right? The LVCMOS clock buffer? If that's the case, there is no internal PLL. I am sorry that support provided inaccurate information and confused you.
Thank you for your answer.
> You are referring to the CDCLVC1104 right?yes
I understand that if that information is accurate, it can be used as a fanout buffer for serial data or pulse signals, not clock signals.
For reference, all I want to do is distribute the LVCMOS level serial data output from the FPGA in a 1: 4 .
