LMX2572: About sine wave output

Hi all.

I think that LMX2572's output is rectangular wave.
My customer would like to change output type to sine wave from rectangular wave.

Please tell me how to convert output type.

Hi Ogane,

If CHDIV is enabled, then the output will be square wave, this is not configurable.
For direct VCO output, the output will be sine wave.

Is the output of LMX2572 always output through CHDVI?
This device has MUX of output, does the MUX make the output waveform to square wave?

Hi Ogane-san,

If OUTx_MUX is set to 1 (VCO direct output), then the CHDIV is bypassed and therefore the output is sine wave.
If OUTx_MUX is set to 0 (divided down output), the output of the VCO will pass through the CHDIV and it is this CHDIV that makes the output square wave.

I would like to set fout=1000MHz, the frequency is out of VCO range, so must use CHDIV.
