Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCE18005EVM

Hi there,

Where can I find some Windows 7 drivers for the CDCE18005EVM?

  • Hello Arne,

a native compatible driver is still down the road for this EVM.

Currently the solution is to use a virtual machine like the "Windows XP Mode" offered by Microsoft. I verified it on my laptop and it worked fine.

Please be aware that USB device drivers are not automatically loaded. You have to "attach" the unidentified device using the virtual machine menu at the top (USB/ "unidentified device" Attach). Then the EVM driver becomes active and you will see the EVM come up in the device manager as in the screenshot.

    Best regards,

    Patrick
