Hi,

 I am using LMX2492 EVM. The clock can not lock to frequency higher than 10.4 GHz with the codeloader. I want to know how to change the hardware or software settings. Thanks.

    Li,

    Although the LMX2492 can operate to higher frequencies, the VCO on the LMX2492 EVM can only go to 10.4 GHz.   So to go to a higher frequency, the VCO needs to be changed.   This footprint is common to many VCO manufactures for higher frequency VCOs, so you should be able to just rework the VCO.

    Dear Dean Banerjee,

      Thanks for your reply. But according to the VCO (RFVC1843) datasheet, it should work from 9.8-11.3GHz which meets my needs. Besides, could you provide a clearer schematic of the EVM. It is blur in the manual. It seems that in the EVM there is an optional amplifier for VCO tune which is not installed.
