LMK04826: LOS_TIMEOUT unit Hz? or usec?

Part Number: LMK04826
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04806

Hi,

I will ask about CLK_LOS setting of LMK04826.

Datasheet (SNAS 605AR) page 73 Register 0x14B has LOS_TIMEOUT setting bit.
Timeout unit is Hz.
Do I need to calculate the actual time as the reciprocal of Hz?

For example, 370 kHz ≈ 2.7 usec

best regards
Cafain

  • The units are Hz as indicated for CLKinX frequency... although I think it's any transition, so assuming a 50% duty cycle, the timeout to any transition is actually half the period. I would need to double check this to be sure.

    73,
    Timothy
  • Hi,Timothy-san
    Thanks for your support

I am referring to Table69 of the data sheet (SNAS489K) page79 of LMK04806 though it is another device.
I think LMK04826 and LMK04806 are similar in specifications.

If there is no signal in the half cycle period of the set frequency,
I believe that if there is no change within a half cycle,
it is judged that a signal with a lower frequency than that frequency is input,
but my opinion is wrong Is not it?

    I expect to support Timothy-san

    best regards

  • hello Timothy-san

    Did you check it?
