LMX2594: Can RAMP_LIMIT be disabled?

Hi,

If fPD=10MHz, the RAMP_LIMIT feature will limit the RAMP range within +/-2.56GHz and fvco cannot cover entire 7.5GHz to 15GHz frequency range. Is it correct?

Is it possible to disable the RAMP_LIMIT feature?

    John,

    This is correct that with this low phase detector range, you can only go 2560 MHz. If you want more, you need a higher phase detector frequency. If you have a low frequency input signal, we do have an input frequency multiplier that can help raise the phase detector frequency.
