LMK04208: as a zero delay buffer?

Hi,

Can LMK04208 be configured as a zero delay buffer? Could you show me the example of hardware and register configuration?

Delay is less than 60ps.

Input is 30M to 150MHz LVDS.

Output is two LVDS outputs.

Hi,

LMK04028 could work as a 0-delay buffer for a fixed frequency, if you changed input clock, register setting also need changes.

We should select mode "PLL2 Int VCO, 0-delay" (R11) for LMK04208. Input clock from OSCin pins. Hardware design could refer to LMK04808 EVM http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/snau076

A register setting .tcs could be loaded in TICS Pro. Here is an example for 150MHz input from OSCin, CLkout0 & CLKout1 output 150 MHz, CLKout0 works as a feedback clock internal.

And we still need to tune Analog delay and digital delay to minimize fixed delay in your 60 ps target.
