Part Number: ADS7947

Hi

customer want to know what's the current capacity of internal ESD diode?

thanks.

  • Hi Max,

In general, 10mA is the maximum sustained current for any current source/sink with the ADS7947. Please do let us know if you need any additional detail.

    Regards,

    Tom

    hi tom,

thank you for your feedback, 10mA was the source / sink current of ADS7947.
but the our question was about the internal ESD diode of each analog input.
when use the internal ESD diode as clamp diode, what's the current capacity that the diode can handle?

  • In reply to tony Yao:

The absolute maximum current is 10mA but we typically recommend keeping the current to <1mA if the diodes are expected to conduct regularly.
