Part Number: TVP5151
We burned some video decoders during ESD tests of our devices according to ISO 10605-2008.What TI recommended for ESD protection of TVP5151?In datasheet provided:
G. System level ESD protection is not included in this application circuit, but it is highly recommended on the analog
But i can't found any recommendations about it.I found recommendation from Littelfuse http://www.littelfuse.com/technical-resources_old/application-designs/circuits/svideo.aspx
But there are only one p/n and we have doubts about appropriate this device to TVP5151.Can we get recommendations for this case from TI?
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.

I would suggest any low capacitance protection that provides clamping at around +-5V.
If the protection is provided at the connector (which it should be) then make sure it is bi-directional since the video input signal could extend below ground.
