ADS1261: ADS1261: need of sample rate different from default

Hi,

I would use the ADS1261 for an application where I need to sample at a frequency of 8ksps. I noticed there are only available near that 7200 and 14400sps. What I could do?I need to use it in pulse conversion mode with a 8khz on the start pin?

In the case of the usage of pulse conversion mode how the register data rate setting affect the conversion? I have not found any conversion time in the datasheet.

It's an industrial application where I need to measure different possible kind of sensor (like pt100, TA, TV, 4-20ma) with a single adc

Hi Marco,

Please take a look at section 9.4.1.3 and Table 8 in the ADS1261 datasheet. There is some conversion latency in pulse mode that's coning to make it difficult for you to achieve an 8kSPS rate in pulse conversion mode. Let us look around and see if there is another device that might be better suited to your needs. Do you need 10 channels?
