ADS1293EVM: Emulate WinNT or Win7 on MacOS - Wine OK?

Howdy. Want to run a TI evaluation module using WindowsNT/Windows7 off a Mac laptop. Should "Wine" emulator work OK enough, or do I need to deal with Parallels/BootCamp/VMware and a Windows license?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately I am not familiar with the differences in between different windows emulators for MacOS computers. I've heard of customers having success with using emulators in the past, but I cannot say for sure if Wine will do the trick.

I have only worked with Windows computers so I can't offer much here. As far as installing the EVM software, make sure to run the executable as administrator and follow the user's guide order of operations before connecting the EVM via USB. The download can be difficult if a step is missed/incorrect - often resulting in starting the process over.
