ADS1261: What is the implementation of the handleSPIerror function in the ads1261 driver code?

There is a 'handleSPIerror' function in the "interface.c" file of the archive for the ADS1261 sample code. The function is called after an error is detected (by your CPU) in either an echoed command or CRC mismatch. The implementation of the function is really up to you to decide on what you want to do from the standpoint of a potential communication problem.

Details of the 'status register' are in the datasheet. If the status byte is enabled, the 'checkStatus' function looks for alarms that may be set, allowing you to choose to continue or take some other action.

The interaction between the data rate and digital filter settings can be confusing. The important thing to know is that the data rate always takes precedence. Therefore, if you select any of the data rates between 14.4kSPS and 40kSPS then you'll always be using the SINC5 filter, no matter how you configure the FILTER setting.
