Hi Uttam,

By the datasheet to get Gain = 2 (Max out voltage 2*Vref, need to set BUFF-GAIN = 1, REF-DIV = 0.

I did it, but the device output is 2.5V instead of expected 5V by this setting.

Why?

Sorry, this combination just doesn't work. may be due to VDD is 3.3V. To get 5V output I need VDD = 5V.

Right?

Hi Loenid,

You will need at least VDD=5V if you want the output to reach 5V. Otherwise it will clamp at about the rail (3.3V), unless there is some current load on the output, in which case it will be slightly lower. I would also confirm that you are correctly writing the DAC registers (ensuring the configuration is being correctly set).
