ADS1292: I want to only use 2 electrode (ADS1292) for 1-Lead ECG without RLD?

Hello,

The main product experts for the ADS129x family of devices are out of the office right now but I believe this will be possible if you AC couple the incoming ECG signals from the body. That said, from what we've discussed together you'll likely have challenges with 50/60Hz, and other noise rejection coupling challenges if you don't use RLD to bias the body.

    Thanks for your reply,I know 1-Lead ECG usually used 2 electrode(RA/LA) to measure ECG and used third electrode for RLD. I want to  know  that  ADS1292 can only used 2 electrode to measure 1-lead ECG  wihtout  RLD ? Or  it need through setting registers or  internal connect third electrode for RLD function?

Hi Leo,

You can refer to the ADS1292ECG-FE evaluation board for schematic and layout examples. We have not yet tested this system against the IEC CMR standard.
