DAC38J82: NCO

Hi team,

I am not familiar with JESD204 and DAC38J82, but the customer asked the following questions, please help answer them.

Can the NCO of DAC38J82 output without JESD204 input? In other words, DAC38J82 must be input by JESD204 interface before its NCO can be output?

If the problem is not clear, please point out.

Yes, the DAC can send an output using the NCO without the JESD interface. If the customer is using the TI DAC38J8xEVM, the attached file will show how to set this up for this mode. The only thing required is the DAC clock, power, and the SPI interface.
