Hi Team,

We need a clarification on the input types of the ADS4142 ADC. Will it support Single-ended input? If so,what is the maximum input signal voltage that can be applied.

    Nidhin,

    Yes, but the full scale range will be limited by half when only driving the analog inputs of the converter single ended instead of differential. The recommended max voltage would be 1.5V. This input should swing no more than VCM + 0.5V to VCM - 0.5V, with VCM = 1V.

    Why are you doing this? Driving with a differential input effectively cancels any even order harmonics/noise at the ADC input, and rejects CM noise.
