DAC38J84: About role of AMUX0, AMUX1, ATEST, IFORCE, VSENSE

Hi Team,

I would like to know about role of those pins.

---------

[AMUX0 and AMUX1 pins]

I understand that AMUX0 and AMUX1 pins can measurement the internal SerDes lines.

Is my understanding correct?

If yes, could you please let us know the measurement point in the IC internal?

---------

[ATEST pin]

I understand that I can measurement of various internal signals depend on config27 Bit 5:0.

Is my understanding correct?

---------

[IFORCE and VSENSE pins]

I understand that IFORCE and VSENSE pins can measurement on chip parametric.

However, I can’t understand “on chip parametric”.

Could you please let us know the Concrete value?

---------

Yes, this is to provide internal measurement points for the SerDes IP. The probe points includes some bias nodes such as bandgap generation and various SRX biases. Normally we do not need this for debug so unless it is absolutely necessary, TI will not disclose this.

These are TI internal automatic tester usage. TI cannot disclose these values.

  • Hi Kang-san,

Thank you for your prompt reply and information.

    I’d greatly appreciate your verification.
