I am considering the ADS1278 for a feedback control application. Latency is a major concern and I wanted to be sure that I understood that aspect of the ADC's operation. In high resolution mode the group delay is specified as 39/Fdata. If the sample rate Fdata is 100 kHz, does this mean that the latency will be 39 samples or 39/100k=390 usec?
