ADC12D500RF: MAX and Min values of VOD and VOS parameters

Part Number: ADC12D500RF

Hi, I'm Jose and I'm working in a project with FPGA and the ADC12D500RF.

I'm a bit new in some things, so I'd like to ask the next questions in order to clarify some datasheet parameters.

In the image attached are bounded in red the parameters I'm interested. Those are: VOD and VOS.

In the VOD parameter when VBG= floating and OVS = HIGH, I see that the parameter  has 3 values related: Typ, Max and Min.

under what conditions or how often I'll have the extreme values, Min or Max?

the conditions {VBG= VA , OVS = HIGH}  and {VBG= VA,   OVS = LOW},  have only indicated the Typ value. Can you provide the Min and Max value for those conditions?

same way, the VOS paramter has not Max and Min, can you provide those values?

thank you

  • Hi Jose,

The footnote on these specifications in question implies that the specification parameters that you have requested for min/max values are ensured by design and/or characterization and is not tested in production. This implies that these numbers move very little and are bound within the other specifications that already have a min/max associated with it. It would also be difficult to specify these numbers as this part is released and has been in production for several years.

To address your first question, on when would you expect any specification to move or start to approach a min or max value...this can be the combination of several things; like power supply variation of the part, temperature or the environment that the part or system design goes within, and process change/variability of the part itself.

    Regards,

    Rob

  • Hi Rob,

Thank you for answer, It has been useful your reply. I think, I'll have into account the values that have min/max specified.

    Have a good day
