ADS1299: ADS1299: Voltage on bypass capacitors exceeds supply voltage

Part Number: ADS1299

Dear TI Support,

ADS1299 data sheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/ads1299) does not specify voltage requirement for bypass capacitors, therefore one could assume that their operating voltage should not surpass the supply voltage.

But, a voltage measurement on VCAP3 pin (relative to AVSS) shows 6.86V. This is well above the supply voltage (AVDD to AVSS = 5V) and needs to be taken into consideration when selecting bypass capacitors.

Could you please point me to a document specifying the maximum operating voltage expected on VCAPx pins of ADS1299?

Best Regards,

Pawel
