ADS8920B: Digital interface test without analog power

Hello,

My customer wants to test only serial interface of ADS8920B.
Does ADS8920B interface work correctly with the below condition?

RVDD: Open
VREF: Open
AINM/P: Short each other
REFBUFOUT: Open
RST: DVDD
CONVST: GND
DVDD=3.3V

Digital signals are connected to the external digital IC.

Hello Oba-san,

The device will not be damaged, but I am not sure that we have tested it in this configuration.

I will research this and get back to you later this week.

Hello Oba-san,

All of the internal digital circuitry is powered from the RVDD input. If this input is floating, then the digital interface will not work correctly.
