I'm trying to follow the application report, but I can't see any signal from the DAC (ie BCLK or WCLK). However MCLK is there.
Must the inverting gate be wired to SSI1 Fss? I use an LM4F.
I power the board as described in the bellow post, but I think everything is fine since I can communicate with the DAC using I2C.
From the linked post, it looks like you solved this issue?
Yes, it does work now.
Powering the DAV EVM without the motherboard is quite complicated. I explained how to do it in this post: http://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/audio_converters/f/64/t/204962.aspx
And there were also an issue in the app note, on the configuration of SW2 of the motherboard, when I tried to use it.
And I don't know if there is a right and a wrong way of wiring the inverting gate (maybe it could inverse right and left channels). I inverted the first ssi controller, which is used as channel 0.
