Part Number: TLV320AIC3254EVM-U
Hello, can this processor be used for headset (microphone in and audio out work simultaneously)? My working environment is PurePath Studio (Portable Audio) MiniDSP GDE.
The TLV320AIC3254 can be used as a headset driver, this part has an ADC for the recording from the mic and a DAC that could drive the integrated headphone driver. These blocks can be used at the same time without issues as the digital interface is able to send and receive data simultaneously.

In reply to Diego Melendez:
Hi Diego, Can I configure AIC3254 EVM-U as a headset (with mic recording)? If "yes" please guide me with an example.
If "not" I also like to know how to record audio via MIC on AIC3254 EVM-U.
Thanks in advance ponglee
In reply to ponglee:
The headset connector of the 'AIC3254EVM-U does not have the pin corresponding to the microphone connected, however, you can solder a wire from pin 4 of J4 to any of the mic signals of connector J2. This way you should be able to connect a headset into J4 and have the mic connected to the mic input of the device.
