Hello,
My customer(Hi-end audio) is evaluating their PrePro set using TAS5508C-TAS5142DKD,but Would you please let us know
about channel config. control register 0x05 to 0x0c " D5"
(D/S p75 says "Valid must be low for this channel to be muted" when "D5=1".)
Q1
What is the default value? I think D5=1 is default..
Q2
"muted" mean MUTE terminal(#14) ? Or 0x0f= FF otherwise individual mute ? ( 0x0f=not FF, not 00) ?
I saw Valid always go low regardless of 0x05-0x0c "D5" when /MUTE(#14) set low in EVM.
Best Regards
Hi, Shibatani-san,
Tuan is having problems with e2e. Here is his response:
Hello Kanji:
A1 - Default D5 = 1
A2 - Mute pin (14) and software mute (0x0F) are OR'ed. Either will mute the device.
Note: It's best to use default setting 0x05 through 0x0C on TAS5142 and TAS5152.
Best regards,
Tuan
