Hello:  my customer is designing with the TAS3xxx ,he is pretty familiar with this device.

One thing he would like is the image on the EPROM that sits next to the TUSB3210 on the TAS3xxx eval board.  The reason is he wants to duplicate this USB interface on his own proto board to use the GUI in testing and development.  Can TI provide this image?

The other question he had was can the TAS3204 run in slave mode at 32kHz?  d/s only says 44.1/48kHz.

regards, George Biner

    Hi, George,

In the past we have been reluctant to give this out... Now that this part is NRND, I expect we will be even more so.

    Assume the d/s is correct.

Don, the customer plans to depop the EPROM part and read it with a programmer -- he just would like to save the trouble.  Anyway, your response didn't say yes or no, please indicate which it is, thanks.  G Biner, Arrow LA

    George,

Unfortunately the answer is no.  We can't send out the EPROM code.  Please understand.

    Regards,

    Li Zhang
