ASIO4ALL does not recognize the PCM2900 device driver

Hi everyone!

I ask you about ASIO4All V.2.9. and PCM2900 device driver.

When I use the WindowsXp, ASIO4All can recognaize the PCM2904 driver.

But When I use the Windows7, the ASIO4ALL does not recognize the PCM2904.

If you give me any comment, I am very kappy.

PS) ASIO4ALL is used on off line setting.

    Unfortunately we cannot support 3rd party external drivers, but have you looked at the PCM290xC? 

  • The ASIO4ALL website has just released (after four long years waiting since the old beta) a new final version of ASIO4ALL.  I just downloaded it today 30th August 2014.  It claims to have fixed dozens of bugs and they admitted that they had made an error in the past by posting the wrong ASIO4ALL.exe file which caused stutter and other audio problems.  I know it's been a while since you posted this,  but I thought you'd find it useful to know that ASIO4ALL is finally updated and available for download!

    Just like you, I've been experimenting with the CP2114 development board and I have been looking into using the Texas Instruments PCM3168A 6 channel audio chip.  I need 6 individual ADC's for a project I'm working on involving the 6 strings on a musical instrument.  I'm using DSP Electronics Flowston software as my audio interface and of course ASIO4ALL to give me very low latency.   My daughterboard for the CP2114 deveopment board is the CS42L55 audio codec which has a stereo 24 bit ADC.   So far my results are more than satisfactory.  Superb audio quality!

    However, am I correct to conclude that the CP2114 board can only pass through 16bit 48khz even though the audio coced is capable of 24bit 96khz?   If so, that is a real disapointment.  ASIO4ALL tells me that this is it's limit and even the youtube video from Silicon Labs starts off by saying that it's 16bit 48khz.   So I'm confused as to why I hear so much talk of 24bit 96khz.  If I'm not able to coax it to pass through 24bit 48khz I will feel very let down as the development board kit I purchased was very expensive to have Fed-Ex delivery half way around the world to Edinburgh Scotland.
