I am using the TLV320AIC3254EVM-K and would like to sample audio at the 192K rate. Is there an application that can record at the 192K sample rate and create a .wav file?

    Hello LRHUMB,

Adobe Audition (formely Cool Edit), Steinberg Cubase, Cakewalk Sonar and Goldwave are some applications that can handle 192ksps recording. However, our USB controller in the USB-MODEVM motherboard operates at USB full-speed and can handle up to 96ksps. Firmware on the EVM can be re-programmed from 8kksps to 48ksps by using the AIC3254 Control Software (CS), which can be downloaded from http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tlv320aic3254evm-k.html.

192ksps can be evaluated using an external audio interface by providing the I2S and MCLK signals to the AIC3254. Details on how to configure the EVM kit for an external audio interface can be found in Section 2.2.1 of the EVM User's Guide.

    Regards,

    JA
