i need a power consumption details of the TLV320AIC3262 audio codec. The audio codec  application guide specify about power consumption of the ADC & DAC in different modes possible. I need maximum power consumption on each power rail.

    When determining maximum power consumption, analog output loads dominate this number. In general DVDD will consume a max of 70mA or so worst case. HVDD and CPVDD depends on the load connected to it (use 50% efficiency as an estimate).

    For power supply requirements, use the following guidelines:

    1. HVDD, CPVDD, DVDD, AVDD18 - Use only one 1.8V 400mA regulator for these supplies (assuming 2x HP 16-ohm loads). If a clean AVDD18 is desired, use a separate regulator for AVDD (100mA is fine).
    2. RECVDD - Use 100mA regulator.
    3. AVDD33  - 20mA max.
    4. IOVDD - 10mA max (strongly depends if running on master or slave mode and how much capacitive load there is on the output clocks).
    5. SxVDD - Connected to system battery (if within voltage spec). 1.8W per channel at 5.5V, which means 600mA or so per channel.

    You can use the numbers I provided to calculate the required battery. If you use an LDO, you simply add the currents. If you use a DC/DC, then current at the battery will be less based on its efficiency.
