PCM2906C: Internal Power Supply: CODEC: The Coupling Capacitor connected to VCCCI (Pin 10) is specified as 10u in the Data Sheet, but is represented as 1u in the EVM – could you please confirm the recommended value?

PCM2906C: Common Rail: VCOM: The Coupling Capacitor connected to VCOM (Pin 14) is specified as 10u in the Data Sheet, but is represented as 1u in the EVM – could you please confirm the recommended value?

Hi Colin,

10uf would be the recommended value for best performance when integrating with other components that share a power supply. This would ensure adequate decoupling for nearly any case.

For the EVM, 1uf is acceptable due to the controlled nature as the end use was known.

Thank you for the guidance; we will follow the Data Sheet and set the relevant Capacitor values to 10uF.
