TLV320AIC3007: Audiopath

Hi,

I'm working on a board that integrate your audio codec, and i'm wondering if I can choose the audio path, I explain. In fact, I would like to use (only) the LINE IN (LINE1LP and LINE1RP) and the LINE OUT (LEFT LOP and RIGHT LOP) for an audio recording. I don't wanna use the ADC and DAC, I just want a "direct" signal between these 2 connectors.

Yes, this can be done. Look at the PGA bypass paths.

What do you mean by PGA bypass paths?

After having a look on the audio path in the codec, it seems that the PGA bypass line is placed after the PGA block and before the Adders bloc. Is it that?

Can you tell if the following path is correct ?

Line1LP --> Line1L (R19, R24) --> PGA (R15) --> PGA bypass (?) --> Line2L(R80)/Line2R(R83) --> LEFT_LOP

Line1RP --> Line1R (R21, R22) -->PGA (R16) --> PGA bypass (?) --> Line2L(R87)/Line2R(R90) --> RIGHT_LOP

There are three different types of bypass path. Please see the datasheet starting on page 38 "ANALOG INPUT BYPASS PATH FUNCTIONALITY" and ending on page 40 with Figure 32.
