I've bought evaluation module kit TLV320AIC1110EVM-K & downloaded the software from a TI page (in slac563b.zip). Installation in accordance with the instructions ended when it could not find the driver. I then went "off-piste": I manually navigated to the folder usbfirmware_v0304_portable/dfu_driver (containing file dfu-w2k-2-w8.inf). This appeared to install fine and the PC is happy. When the EVM is plugged in, the PC device manager shows DFUUSB (with no yellow warnings). However D2 (USB active LED) never lights. The PC GUI opens fine and for a few seconds it says it is connected. Then the device connected turns red and a dialogue appears offering retry (not successful). There was another .inf in the unzipped folder but only that one that said it was compatible with the EVM. I also tried looking in slac540.zip to try to find another driver but did not fine one.
I've search the forum and found a link about reviving EVMs in the TLV320AIC3xxx series... do you think I should try this on my TLV320AIC11xx EVM?

PC is XP, with admin privileges. Have tried this on three such PCs. One was fresh, the other two have previous NI installations (which stopped working when this EVM installation was attempted).
