Linux driver for LM49350

Unfortunately, TI has never released any Linux driver for the LM49350 before, so I don't the have the source code now.

I think the most difficult part of this Linux driver is the register settings.  If the customer has issues with some settings, we definitely can help them review and answer their questions.

You  want build a "Platform Driver" or "I/O driver", you can find the I2C And I2S as reference.

The LM49350 include the I2C and I2S ports.

I am not this particular customer, but I am in a similar situation:

I am struggling with the settings of the block and would be happy to have some guidance how to get it to initially work.

After having looked into the block for some time, I agree with the comment, Andy posted earlier in a different thread that LM49350 appears to be a very complicated device and many registers have to be set correct values before something starts working.

Therefore some example settings for a simple use case (e.g. block clocked by MCLK, I2S data on Port1, no effect engine, output to the headphone) would be a really good starting point for me.

So if anyone has ever done something like this (or something completely different from which I could deduce the correct settings for such a simple case), help would be greatly appreciated.
