PCM5142 with external clock on J6

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM5142

Hi all,

I am trying to give external reference clock of 10 MHz on J6 of PCM5142 to remove sync problems.

earlier, I got it working with TAS1020B MCLK (11.288 MHz) by making changes on W5 and SW3. In that case MCLK=PLLCKIN=PLLCK=11.29. Is that correct if I don't make any changes in PLL registers?

Now, I wish to give 10MHz external clock from J6 without changing MCLK .

I shunt pin 2 and 3 of W5 and put SW3 in high , low,high respectively for a,b,c.

I change D=1290 so that PLLCK=10*1.1290=11.29MHz so that it is same as previous MCLK.

I provide 10MHz on J6.

How do i set PPCKIN=10 MHz so that after i execute my script PLLCK=MCLK=11.29 MHz?

Thanks and Regards

Ankur
