I’m looking for a “drop in” solution for microphone acoustic noise cancellation in half-duplex speech communication (PTT type) installed in vehicles.

“Drop In” means that at this stage (the first batches of the product) there is no ability of doing DSP software design activity, I need a simple solution, device with firmware that just doing the job.

 

TI has 4 “drop in” type devices on the site: LMV1088, LMV1089, LMV1051 and LM49155 but all of them are defined as “not recommended for future design” and linking to TLV320AIC3256 or alike audio DSP. This is a nice device but if I understand correct it needs DSP software work…. so I have few questions:

 

  1. Is there a firmware solution with TLV320AIC3256 or alike devices which can provide the functionality like one of the LMV1088, LMV1089, LMV1051 and LM49155?

 

  1. What does mean the NRFD status for the LMV1088, LMV1089, LMV1051 and LM49155 devices? If one of them isn’t in End Of Life status, i.e. it may be ordered for a while, maybe I can design with it to fulfill the requirements for production in next couple of years (up to about 5k devices….) and later on to design the next generation of the product with TLV320AIC3256 or alike?
