TAS5709 and PCM1851A initital/sample code...

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5709

Dears,

Is there anyone can help to provide the initial or sample code?

Customer want to speed up their design schedule and want to modify code based on the sample code.

Please help!

Thanks.

  • Hi Peter,

I think that it might be useful for your customer to use the GUI of the TAS5709, you can find it in the product folder of the EVM in ti.com. They can setup all the required digital processing while saving the register changes using the I2C logging tool. You need to select it in the GUI under the tools menu. This feature will track all the I2C register updates made with the controls in the GUI and save them in a .cfg file located in the Software install directory, typically C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments Inc\TAS57XX GDE\ ProcessFlows\TAS57XX\diagnostics.cfg.

I have asked my colleague to help you with the PCM1851A configuration.

    Best Regards,

  • Dear Diego,

    Thanks for your suggestion!

I agree it and that is what I told to customer yesterday!

About PCM1851A, just let me know if any update!

    Thanks.

  • Hi Peter,

There are only 3 registers for the PCM1851A, these can be written with I2C or SPI communication. For more information of running a device such as the MSP430 as a host device, please reference this app note:
