Hello, apologies for what may be a daft question.

I'm looking to use the DIR9001 to receive an AES3 signal- balanced with 110ohm termination. As the DIR9001 is a single ended input, is there a recommended input circuit to do this?

Hi Alex,

The AES3 standard follows the RS-422 electrical characteristics. Therefore you can use any RS-422 receiver which will take in a differential signal and convert it to a single ended signal. These can be found here: www.ti.com/.../rs-422-products.page
