Hi, I'm trying to hear different tones using the AIC3204 (on the USB stick C5505) by sending different frequencies and so far I've been able to do it. The only thing that I'd like to know is Why do I hear a loud high pitched tone right after I click on debug, during initial configurations of the codec? Is there a way to fix that?

Hi Yudith,

I haven't worked with that EVM in particular, bu there are some pointers:
1. Make sure I2S signals are provided before running the AIC3204 configuration.
2. Follow the sequence in the example scripts found in the wiki page: e2e.ti.com/.../2740.where-can-i-find-example-scripts-for-these-codecs

Note that there is a small amount of pop in the headphone output of AIC3254 due to cap charge. This is a function of the load impedance. The higher the impedance, the higher the pop.
