Hello,
I'm using a TLV320AIC34 to generate an output signal. I have it configured to generate a differential output. I am sending in data on the digital interface in the form of a linear ramp that goes from 0x8000 to 0x7FFF (-32768 to 32767) and back at roughly 640hz. The ramp may not be hitting the exact max and min values, but it is certainly within a few % of the max and min values according to the data I've observed. On my outputs, I'm seeing signals on the p and m that only have pk-pk of about 0.66v. High peak voltage is 1.9v and low peak is 1.14v so it is centered around 1.52v. The linear ramp looks good, it's just the amplitude is not what I'd expect.
Before we get into register configuration/setup and so on. Could you simply tell me what I should expect to see on the outputs given a full scale signal and assuming no attenuation is configured in the codec?
The reason I need to know this is that we need to scale this output up to a 24v pk-pk signal and need to set our gains of that output stage properly.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
