Low pass filter cutoff frequency in PCM5122

Hi,

I have a question about using the filters on the pcm5122. we need Low pass filter. We are looking for cutoff frequency around

50KHz is this supported.

We will be using pure path for the configuration.

Hi Prakash,

With program 5, explained in the data sheet, you can use PurePath Studio to configure a biquad to have a 50 kHz low pass filter.

Hi Justin,

We have a PCM5122 board with i2s for audio and i2c for configuration from an external controller.
We want to have a low pass filter with 50Khz as cutoff.

Does the purepath software communicate only with the EVM or can it also connect to our PCM5122 based board.

Hi Prakash,

Sorry about the delay in response. The PCM5122 can be controlled through the PurePath Console 1.16 GUI, but to use the fixed process flow with changed, you will need to us PurePath Studio to manipulate the signal flow.
