We are considering the PCM2904 from my suppliers.

The S / W information of the URL to , it was provided to the customer .

It is all right in the installed PC/ installed S/W . However, in the otherwise PC noise is generated .

Do you have any symptoms associated with the installation of the S / W? ,Do you need to always install the S / W?

Hi Carl,

The audio filter driver is a fix for the noise issue on the non-C version of PCM290x. It is necessary to always install it in every PC that will be connected to PCM2904.
You could change from PCM2904 to PCM2906C as PCM2904 does not have a C revision version. The noise issue was fixed for this new version of chips.
