Customer is considering PCM2912A and external crystal oscillator.

Can crystal oscillator's Vcc(3.3V) input from PCM2912A's any power line?

(Same line of VCCP, VCCL, VCCR, VCCA, or VDD)

Or, is it occur any problem?

(ex. Power up sequence, noise, etc)

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • HI Satoshi-san,

I'm sorry I can't fully understand your questions. Could you give a further explanation of your question/issue?
Are you trying to use an external clock source? (not using a crystal connected to XTI/XTO)
PMC2912A is a USB-powered device, VCCx and VDD voltages will be internally generated.

    Thank you for reply.
    And, sorry for mistake.

I understood that power supply is internally generated.
    Customer will use crystal oscillator.
